| It's Spring in Chicago, that means it can be 80° today and 40° tomorrow or even a few hours later. On one of the nicer days I went back to my old neighborhood and took along my camera. Many of the old stores still stand. You can sit and have fine Italian bakery and coffee at D'Amatos, shop for Italian goods at Isola's and have an excellent Italian lunch or dinner at Salerno's Restaurant or at the famous Como Inn nearby. The neighborhood itself is being bought up by young professionals who are restoring the old building into incredibly beautiful (and expensive) homes and condos. | |||||||||
